Lectio Divina ist eine der besten Methoden, die Heilige Schrift zu lesen; eines der wichtigsten Dinge, die ein Christ tun kann, um seine geistliche Gesundheit zu verbessern. Häufiges Lesen der Schrift wird einer Person erlauben, wirklich Gott zu erkennen. Sowie eine Person zu den Veränderungen zu führen, zu denen Gott sie inspiriert, um ihr Leben zu verbessern.
Es ist wichtig zu beachten: Beim Lesen der Bibel geht es NICHT darum, wie viel Sie jeden Tag lesen. Das langsame Lesen der Bibel und das Ausführen dessen, was sie sagt, wird zutiefst nützlicher sein als sie auswendig zu lernen und immer noch den gleichen Lebensstil zu leben, den Sie hatten, als Sie anfingen.
Lectio Divina ist eine wirksame Methode zum richtigen Lesen der Schrift, da sie dem Gebet eine Struktur gibt. Lectio Divina kombiniert Gebet und Schriftlesung und konzentriert sich auf Veränderungen im eigenen Leben. Wenn Sie es richtig anwenden, wird es Ihnen helfen, Ihren christlichen Weg zu beschleunigen. Sie werden in kurzer Zeit auf Ihrer Weg laufen. Außerdem wird es ein großer Trost für die Momente sein, in denen der Kampf so intensiv ist, dass Sie Schwierigkeiten haben, in anderen Formen des Gebets zu beten.

Eine wertvolle Ressource zur Ergänzung Ihrer Lectio Divina Übungen ist es, den Liturgischen Kalender der katholischen Kirche als Grundlage für Ihre Lectio Divina-Lesungen zu nutzen. Die katholische Kirche hat für das Jahr die Schriftstellen festgelegt, die an einem bestimmten Tag gelesen werden sollen. Diese werden normalerweise in der Messe an diesem Tag gelesen, können aber auch für die persönliche Lektüre und das Gebet verwendet werden.
